The Herd's Story

Hello everyone, i am Dev Manchanda of class 10th studying in Brain International School. I am a student. This is a sample blog written for IT holiday homework. This blog is written on the software - Qumana. Today i am going to narrate a fantasy story.

"Love is natural but hate is taught to us."

Once upon a time there lived 2 herdsman that herded their sheep and earned money by selling wool. The herdsmen hated each other beacuse there was only a small patch of land for grazing and there was competition among the herdsmen that whose sheeps get most grass. the pice of land was open and drying and thus, the greenery also perished. The irony is,that the sheeps loved each other and they mingled together. The sheeps couldnt be separated. In contrast the herdsmen were very angry when they saw the sheeps mingle. The herdsmen worked together to make a barrier between the sheep. It was a wooden fence that was short in height. The sheeps were separated for a while but they crossed the fence by jumping over it. The herdsmen failed this time so they again made a separation. This time the fence was of iron and very long. But the sheep were true lovers and they in their hunger to meet their loved ones attacked the fence and in the process killing themselves ina few tries. The herdsmen stopped the sheep once a few had died :( .This time they made new barrier. The barrier was made up of rocks and it was long and opaque. The herdsmen thought that the sheep wont try to mingle with each other as they couldnt see each other. But somehow a small part of a rock broke making both sides visible to each other. The sheeps took a long run and jumped on the rocks. All the sheeps, were attacking the barrier. The barrier fell killing many sheeps and in the breaking process too many were killed. only a few sheeps were left now. The herdsmen tired of making new barriers did something innovative. They shaved the hasirsof the sheeps making 2 different patterns. the sheep were then set free, without a fence they mingled with each other. But alas ! the sheeps started noticing their different patterns and thus, started fighting among patterns. This started a massacre and till the time the herdsmen stopped them it was too late, all the sheeps had been killed.

Moral :- We shouldn't divide people on the basis of religion/caste etc. because "Love is natural but hate is taught to us."
